Non-Violence Project Uganda

Non-Violence Project Uganda, a home-grown social initiative, combats three of the most poignant issues plaguing Uganda: pervasive violence, wide-spread poverty and mass unemployment. Led by award-winning entrepreneur and visionary Eddy Balina, it educates and facilitates ordinary Ugandans with the skills necessary to thrive in an economically deprived region, all the while operating as a profitable entity that reinvests its bottom-line into the community. NVPU primarily operates in the slums of Jinja, a large town outside the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
